My passion for the violin
Currently a student at the Conservatoire de Lausanne (HEM) in Sion, Olivia is inexorably moving closer to her primary goal: "To realise my lifelong dream, my "personal legend", to play in concerts, to tour the world's great concert halls and to succeed in living from them while reconciling a hypothetical family life". To do this, Olivia does not skimp on effort: "My schedule is to study, study, study, study, play the maximum of violin repertoire, both solo and in chamber music. And to give us the keys to success from a pragmatic point of view: "In music, perhaps more than in other fields, you first need talent, which represents 10% of the final result, but you can't do without it. Work accounts for about 80% of the result. Finally, the chance to meet the right people at the right time makes up the remaining 10%".
However, Olivia does not forget the sentimental dimension which is at the heart of her project. "I think that what has allowed me to make my journey to this day is my passion for the violin and faith in my passion". (01.12. 2008)
